Sunday morning, my dad and uncle and I went out to the new Cowboys Stadium to take the behind-the-scenes stadium tour. It was excellent! It was very long – at least 2 hours – but it was worth it, this is really an amazing stadium.

Looking down on the field from the press box. The field is artificial turf, of course, and is in the process of being laid down for Monday’s game.

You really get a perspective on how big that TV screen is…

Fast forward to Game Day!! FIrst Monday Night Football game in the new Cowboys Stadium.

Here’s the presentation for “The World’s Largest Video Boards”. You can see that Jerry is very happy.

This picture also gives you perspective on where we were sitting – maybe 17 rows up in the endzone’s lowest level. The video boards were so good that I found myself looking up at it when the plays were happening on the far side of the field. Which made my neck hurt the next morning.
